Infinity Biofuels is a privately held Canadian company located in southern Ontario. The founders, Larry Melnichuk and Sue Kelly, have successfully patented processes to convert biomass and waste into renewable fuels such as ethanol and gasoline and renewable chemicals such as acetic acid and its derivatives. 

 

Larry Melnichuk studied organic chemistry and genetics at York University, where he spent several years researching environmental solutions to common pollution issues. In the early 90's he focussed on the research and development of heat sources for the production of synthesis gas -- the building block for synthetic chemicals and fuels. 

 

Dr. Sue Kelly joined Larry in 1990 for his quest for waste solutions. Together they evolved into the successful team that is now ready to launch into commercial production.
